Warehouse Job Requirements
Join Amazon's warehouse team with ease. Our entry-level positions have minimal requirements. Your next career opportunity could be a simple application away.


Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have good knowledge of German or English, with the ability to understand and follow all work requirements and safety guidelines

Able to stand and walk during working hours

Able to comply with workplace safety rules

Able to handle heavy objects up to 15 kg independently*
*Amazon XL Warehouses require associates to be able to lift up to 23kg independently and 45kg with team assistance

Create an account or sign into an existing account
Getting started is quick and easy. If you don't have a jobs account already, here's how to get it set up:
New to Amazon jobs?
Your jobs account must be different than your Amazon shopping account.
- Click "Register" to begin creating an account
- Begin creating your account by entering your personal details
- Create an easy-to-remember six-digit PIN
- Verify your account through email or mobile number
Already have a jobs account?
- Enter your email address or mobile number associated with your Amazon jobs account
- Enter your six-digit PIN
- Confirm your secure login through email or mobile number
Now, you're ready to begin your application!

Stage 2
Complete the application requirements

Tell Us About Yourself
Enter contact information, such as:
- Legal First and Last Name, DOB, Address, etc.
- Previous Amazon employment details, if any
- If applicable to your role, complete an online assessment to evaluate your ability to perform the job

Authorize your Background Check
Read through the consent forms for your background check.
- Input personal details (DOB, address, etc.)
- Virtually sign your full name to consent to the background check

Review & Confirm Job Details
- Please review the job details and type your full name as eSignature.
- If everything looks great, please click "Submit Your Application."

Congratulations! Your application is submitted
- Once you see this page, your application has been successfully submitted!
- Once complete, you will be directed to a "Thank You" page, where you can click "View Your Jobs" to schedule your pre-hire appointment (Assessment and Contract Signature Appointment)

Stage 3
Prepare for your first day

Setup your Employee Documents Portal Account
After you've completed your application, you'll receive communication to create your Employee Documents Portal account — this is where you'll upload your work authorization and any other required employment documents.
Schedule your Pre-Hire Appointment
Once you've completed your work authorization and background check, you'll receive communication to schedule your pre-hire appointment (Assessment and Contract Signature Appointment).
- In your jobs account, find the job you applied for, and click "Schedule pre-hire appointment"
- Choose a date and time that works for you.
- Once chosen, confirm your time slot by clicking "Yes" to confirm.

Here's what you need to know about your appointment:
What to bring
- A valid photo ID (passport or identity card)
- If you have not already uploaded your payroll documents to the Employee Documents Portal Account, please bring the following: Matriculation certificate (if applicable), Social Insurance Number, Tax identification number, or Public health insurance card
What we'll do together
- Verify your ID and collect your documents
- Complete an assessment to confirm you can meet the requirements of the role
- Sign your employment offer, contingent on passing the assessment and document review
- Take your badge photo
A few things to know
- The appointment is part of Amazon's hiring process and is unpaid
- Plan for the appointment to take about 1.5 hours

Attend your first day at Amazon Germany!
On Day 1, you'll receive training for your role and crucial safety protocols. Below are a few attire requirements:
- If you have long hair, please tie it up. Hair must be kept above collar length
- Your badge must be worn visibly at all times. You will receive a lanyard on your first day when you pick up your badge
- Trousers must fit properly, no dragging hems, no overly wide trousers, no skirts
- Safety shoes: Only Amazon-approved safety shoes are permitted. Do not purchase your own — if required for your role, you will receive them on-site.
- No jewellery - no earrings, necklaces, bracelets, wedding rings are OK
