This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) covers all previous employees, temporary and permanent, of Amazon and its affiliated companies (“Alumni”).

What data does Amazon keep about me?
We may retain personal data about you after your employment has ended in order to comply with legal and regulatory requirements or for our legitimate interests. This may include the following:
- Demographic data (including name, surname, gender, alias, citizenship, date of birth, nationality and marital status)
- Contact information (including email address, private telephone, home address)
- Employment history (including job title, work location, employee ID, work history, hire and termination date, preferred language, communication data and work products that are still held in our systems)
- Payment-related data including tax / payroll information, bank account details and possible outstanding compensation
- Special categories of personal data, that are – in exceptional cases – still included in the aforementioned documents and information, such as health data
How long does Amazon store your personal data?
We will retain personal data relating to your employment with Amazon for as long as we need it to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and in order to comply with legal and regulatory requirements (for example requirements relating to tax or employment law), record keeping requirements and/or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. You have the right to request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data, to ask for data portability and the restriction of processing, as well as — depending on the laws of your country — the right to define instructions on your personal data after your death.
